I cannot watch the video as i am in office, But if you are speaking of a Dump truck which can to side ways too, Then the answer is Yes ! Tata had introduced such tippers in early 90's. I have seen them in Goa minning sector. Unfortunately what i had herd was that the early ones sold had a major fault with their jacks ( Wipro jacks ) resulting in serious damage to the chassis. Thus they were i beleive pulled out.

locking mechanism is manual hence design looks simple and effective. It would have been complicated if the both back ways and sideways were automatic.

Its not that effective for indian market where manual labour is cheap.

I haven't heard of these 3 way dump trailers before. I thought it would make the vehicle unstable if you dump on the sides, but this trailer is able to do 9 tons.

Re: Three Way Dump Trailer - Do they exist here in india?

Hi, I didnt see a completion video or the pics. I have a Xenon XT that is presently towing a surplus army trailer. Also, I wanted to tell you that the army has these three way dumping tippers and they use the same set up. simple pins that need to be set up to lock the side from which you want to tip.
