Review: Sheeba all-in-one polish for just Rs 140

I was searching for a long lasting wax product and stumbled on this. For the price of around Rs 150 it was worth a shot!

Here is my review of the Sheeba All in one multipurpose polish.

Vehicle - Hyundai Elantra 2005

Time taken - 2hrs incl washing

Items used - Sheeba-All in one, Buckets, micro fiber towels and car shampoo.

Why am I writing a review about this product- It is probably the cheapest car polish and I wasn't able to find a review of this product on Team-BHP.

Preparation:-

A very simple car wash using the two bucket method. Took me about 15 minutes.

I let the car dry for 10 minutes and then wiped it clean with a cloth.

This is how the car looked post the car wash. Note the reflection of the tube light on the car's hood.

The application of product.

I was a little disappointed to see the polish to be very similar to liquid wax. Honestly, I was expecting a clear liquid type polish. I am unsure if this is how it is supposed to be or did the Q.C chap of Sheeba just not bother

I used a simple sponge applicator disc.

Yes, I realised that I have used too much of the product.

Took me a very long to buff the surface. Luckily I used sensible amounts on the other parts of the car.

After 10 minutes of letting the wax sit, I started my upper body workout. In other words, I started the buffing process. It didn't take too long. Except for the car hood where I used A LOT of the product.

Total Time taken for buffing was about an hour.

Here is the end result. Do notice the reflection on the hood.

re: Review: Sheeba all-in-one polish for just Rs 140

What I feel

This is a very inexpensive product. Cost me Rs 140 when purchased from Amazon.in. Now, whether this is a polish or a liquid wax I am confused. Either ways, it did the job.

Coming to durability, I doubt if this will last for more than 2 weeks. I shall wait, observe and update this thread in a week or two.

Now, this being in a spray bottle, it made the whole application process super easy and fast. I was done applying a layer of this product in about 15 minutes. Being liquid, it spreads evenly and easily. This has been faster than what it would take me if I were to use the carnauba wax paste.

Regarding the quantity, I am sure I can do atleast 3 more rounds of waxing/polishing with the current bottle.

VERDICT

It is easy to apply and takes very little time. Being cheap, it makes it a product you can use it weekly to give your car the shine. How long this product lasts will be updated shortly. But Rs 140 for 4 applications is Value for Money

UPDATE- 2 WEEKS later

So it has been about 15-16 days since I applied it. The car has been drenched a couple of times in the rain and now I can see the wax has almost withered/washed away.

So I gave it a nice wash and waxed it again.

After waxing the car twice the can still has about 50% of the polish left.

Value for money - Yes
Does it last long - 3 weeks maximum and lesser if the car is drenched in rain.

Note - This is in no way any product promotion. I bought the product and am sharing my personal views.

Thanks
