Even though I had the 70mai dashcam pro installed on my Seltos since delivery, this thread helped me in finding a way to open the glovebox and conceal it inside it rather than leaving it outside with chances of it coming down later.

One additional thing which I did was to wrap the dashcam wire with Cotton Insulation tape to avoid any chances of the wires getting heated up due to constant exposure to Sun.

Below is a picture of how I fixed my dashcam in a way that its hardly noticeable from outside

Yes, it is a good to wrap the wire with cotton tape.

The installation is pretty simple and you can easily conceal all the wires. In my Creta, I took the cable through the A pillar, then under the rubber beading on the door sill, then you have a perfect gap to route the cable below the glove box, left over wires are just placed under the floor mat and then on to the car charger. Only the last bit reveals the cable.
