I was really looking forward for Kona EV in India. Unfortunately I am really disappointed with the pricing of the vehicle. 20-25 lakhs ex-showroom price for a mid-sized SUV in India is disaster pricing, specially when it is already being made in India.
I wish if Hyundai can keep the pricing below 20 on-road, I would be in queue to buy this as my next car.

Saw a Kona on the highway near NHPC metro station in Faridabad. I was around 70 and this car overtook, seemed to make progress pretty fast.

Looks very interesting. Using the CKD route they are reducing the cost/price. I frankly hope they succeed. I will prefer the bigger power model (at least as an option)

Hyundai seems to be getting ready to unveil the Kona. I noticed a 'Hyundai Electric' board in a corner (Kona? lol:) of Popular Hyundai today.
Im a huge electric fan! (pun not intended) Hyundai Kona will revolutionize the electric revolution in India. Hope they price it within reach!
Top speed is 167kph which imo is plenty enough for the first
proper electric car in our market. Range is 480km going by the stickering on the car in the below video, will be interesting to see how much we get here owing to our traffic conditions.

I saw a Kona (in White) today in Faridabad going towards Gurugram. Could not take pics as I was driving in traffic on other side.
Still can confirm it stands out & seemingly is taller than i20 IMO.
