I would assume so - I doubt they would launch an EV with the Wagon-R name unless it is (a)Reliable, all niggles ironed out (b)Priced right-close to ICE prices.
Even if they have the tech, they would have to work on getting the supply chain setup - esp on the batteries and charging infrastructure where they probably have to get into new partnerships, at scale.
