Problems with the TMSC app for the Tata Nexon EV

Hi everyone,

I approved an update request for the TMSC app on android playstore and the following happened .

Now, after the update the car has unlinked itself from the app and shows that there is no vehicle and asks me to add a new vehicle

If I try to add a new vehicle , it won't allow me to add an EV and asks me to download another app called EV TMSC , the link to which is also given

However , upon clicking the link , there is no app , and a separate search for "EV TMSC" also yields no result .

Anyone else facing this issue ?

For the ones who haven't updated their TMSC app yet , maybe it's a good idea not to update yet.

I just checked on an iPhone, there's a Tata Motors Zconnect, that seems to be EV-specific. Can you look for it on Android.

A quick way to look at possible apps is to look at all the apps published by the developer: "Tata Motors" in this case.

I think there will be a new TMSC app for EV coming soon, this is the info I got on our nexon ev groups. Please take the info with a pinch of salt.

Z connect is for a different purpose , it's to monitor the car , turn on AC et.,

While TMSC is to get service centre booking , see job card , get updates on vehicle service status etc.,

Yeah , but what's pissing off , is that the ev support from an existing app is taken off before the new app is released .

The new app is now launched in Apple store and Play Store and it is working fine. App name is "EV Tata Motors Service Connect"

I downloaded and installed the new app, but it seems to be half baked , the job cards are not properly updating . And some of the previous records are gone .

Is there anyone else facing similar issues ?
