Mercedes teases new V-Class based on upcoming modular VAN.EA platform Mercedes-Benz is said to be working on an all-new iteration of its V-Class.
The new Mercedes-Benz V-Class will be based on the brand's upcoming "modular & scalable" VAN.EA platform, which is said to usher in "a completely new era". Mercedes claims the VAN.EA or Van Electric Architecture platform will allow a clear differentiation between its private luxury vans and those meant for commercial usage.
While details of the upcoming V-Class are yet to be revealed, reports suggest it will be ultra-posh and feature armchairs in the back, multiple screens and premium leather upholstery.
Mercedes will reveal a concept version of the V-Class in 2025. Once launched, the new V-Class could take on the likes of the Lexus LM.
