There is just one pic here cannot see the other two, my casper is also a boxer, but she is of the albino kind, we took her to the all india level do show held at trichur kerala this weekend, man she was a center of attraction there, there were hundreds of boxers there not even one albino kind, she had a lot of people clicking her pics and a we also got a lot of enquaries for her, she is a star now clap:

How do you (to those who are staying alone/working couple) manage dog when you go to office and there is no one to take care of him during daytime? I cant even think of my dog locked inside the home for whole day. This is the main reason I could not take one cute pug offered to me by a friend.

Some of you might know him already but for the others who don't, he is Zeus and he is by far, the most docile Doberman on Earth!

You'll can see in the second photograph that the Hyundai Santro Xing has amazing head-room :D

P.S. Sorry about his eyes. I tried getting a picture without that but it didn't happen!

Isn't Royal Canin Junior for older puppies and not as young as 2 and a half month olds? I started feeding my Doberman and Rottweiler with Royal Canin puppy and then after 6 to 7 months changes to junior.

I just got myself a month old Golden Retriever yday.. and named her Melo :)

The thing is, she cries non stop all night and at times during the day as well. Is there anything i can do to comfort her and keep her from crying?

Sure my friend. The problem is that Melo is no longer with her mother. And this makes her feel exposed to the world. What you should ideally do is give her that sense of security and comfort that her mother gave her. She is probably feeling cold and yearning for warmth, so keep her as close to you as possible. Make sure that she is tucked in well. Provide her with that added security and protection that she's missing.

- Get her some blankets (especially since winter is setting in) and make sure she's tucked in while sleeping. Do not change the blankets as dogs generally like the smell of their blankets that they used to have and are most comfortable with them.

- Get her a dedicated pillow or a small bed. Don't let her out of your sight when you're around.

- Give her some nice warm milk. Dilute the milk with a little bit of water (Ratio 70:30) Make sure that the milk isn't too hot. It should ideally be luke-warm or slightly warmer.

- Talk to her! You will not believe it but dogs understand quite a lot! Tell her how much you love her. Stroke her gently and caress the are behind her years and rub her neck. There is no substitute for love!

First of all congrats on getting the fur ball home. I think if the pupy is only one month old then it was a little too early for you to get the puppy home. Puppies start to socialise with its litter mates between 6 to 8 weeks which helps the pup in knowing and learning a lot of things. It also needs its mother all the time till it is around 6 weeks old. Try to leave the pup back with its mother and you can get it back once it is minimum 45 days old. This will also build its immune system.

I've taken her to a vet who said its OK if i keep her with me even though shes only a month old. But he did advice me to take extra care of her and specified a diet and all. I also don't know if taking her back will be possible or not. Will have to talk to the breeder regarding this.

I'm sure shes missing her folks. Just hope she settles in quickly.
I did set up a small bed for her but the thing is she doesn't seem to be happy in it. Maybe she'll get used to it in a while.

Most pups would take a week or two to settle in. You will have to put up with her till then! She will cry and yelp and howl more often than not. Just give her lots of warmth and affection. That should do the trick! Try this:

- Give her a small sponge bath. Wipe her with a towel and then dry the towel in the sun. Then wrap her with the same towel when she resting. Not only would it be crisp, but she would also get the whiff of her own body smell. It would help her feel comforted. :)

But the doc advised not to give her a bath for another week or so cuz shes too small as of now and that too is in a new environment.

No no! Don't give her a bath! Just wipe her with a damp cloth! Like a sponge bath! :) Just so that her smell lingers on it for a bit!

Here are my pets Simba and Milo. SImba is the GS while Milo is a lab.
Milo is a bit weak. Eats a lot of mud so taken shankars advice and giving him tablets now.
