here is my favourite picture . But I love the shiny pictures rudraji takes. Is there any trick to getting the car so shiny or is it just good old fashioned elbow grease?

First, the car should be shiny. Second, pick a time (morning or evening) or lighting condition (overcast sky which diffused light) that reflects light pleasantly from the car. Third, know how to use your camera well. Fouth, know how to process the shot.

Is that applicable to all colors or only dark colored cars..?
I have a golden zen. Will the overcast conditions funda work for it?

In my experience, you can get away with harsh sunny conditions for white or other bright colored cars. But for darker colors, you do need overcast conditions. In fact, that's the best condition for any color car. The sky acts like a giant diffused light source.

Sagar.

Lovely pictures Sagar.
Kudos :thumbs up

Pretty good Sagar, although highlights are blown in all images, the composition makes up for it.

Nice pics there Samurai... You have found a little playground for your GV..
@Sagar: I liked the mini cooper pic very much.

Lovely picture Navin BHP

One from me after a gap.. Ram Hyundai's Verna

Nice pic mansidea,

I had to look at it to see if that background was real or not!

I will leave the photo advice to the regulars here...but my 20c is that you could have used the surroundings in a more creative way for a more striking composition.

Nonetheless, a very eye catching pic!

ps - cool sticker.

Mansidea,

The picture would have been great sans the people inside the car.

Just my two cents.

I was waiting for mansidea to post it here,i loved the pic of my car.I wished the pics of the car on the lawn like backdrop would also be there.Rudra sir,can you do your magic on this.
ram

Great composition mansidea, but if you work a little harder on the pick you will get the following
1. Better sharpnes
2. Better color rendition
3. Image will POP better
Adjust the curves so that the red in the car stands out as compared to the surroundings a little more.
Overall a great shot nevertheless
