That is a very nice collection dude! Keep it up...Hope it keeps on increasing!!

Have checked out a few places in Aurobindo Marg, South Ex and in Noida Shoppers Stop (Great India Place mall) but they have a limited collection. I want a Red Ferrari F430 in 1:24 scale!! nowhere to be found!!

And I have only seen Maisto and Mattel models till now, no other brands!

Have you checked this scale model shop in the Select City Walk Mall in Saket?? Its right besides the entrance to the movie hall on the 1st floor.
I remember seeing some really nice models there.

One thing I have trouble with, is keeping my babies clean... so every two weeks I go through a rigorous operation 'Clean-up'... out come my gloves, sterile cloth, vacuum, spray and wax... and the brushes as well... for the fingerprints, the best thing would be to use a lint free cloth...

I managed to pick up on this procedure while surfing the net for some more models to add to my collection...

Diecast Nuts!

Follow the link, has a great write up to help everyone out. Hope it is of use...
Hi, Nice collection and nice display. I am an avid scale modeller too.
I have about 200 in all scales. I specialise in classic and Vintage vehicles and I have a collection of military models too. The latest one I have acquired is a huge 1:5 Scale Mercedes Benz 540K Roadster RC model. Its awesome. Since I had this imported from the US, during transit,one of the lights has come off. I am in the process of fixing it. Shall post pics as soon as it is done. Some of my models are posted in my photosite ;

Yes, I do. Just four of my real ones are shown. Another two vehicles, a 1938 Merc 170V sedan and a 1946 Ford Thames apart from three motorcycles viz a 1952 BSA C-11, A DKW Auto Union RT200 1954 and a Jawa Pionr 50cc 1958 are under restoration.
Even the scale models shown are a few. I have around 200. You can pictures of two interesting plastic kits, a Willys MB with Trailer and an WW2 SAS Jeep in desert camo in the other scale model thread.

Hi abhikaul! Seems you have an immense obsession with scale models. Show off your collection here: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/collec...el-thread.html

Re: ARTICLE: About Scale/ Diecast Models

Hi Dippy,
I doubt you remember me - but you may recall my brother Neil, along with whom, I have quite a sizeable collection.
We have recently done a major re-think on the models we have been collecting and the result is that we have a good number of scale 18s (both cars and bikes) and 24s (a near-complete Ferrari collection from 1957 to 1995) for sale.
All the cars are in excellent condition, never played with, but without their original packaging (you may have seen the manner in which we display our models). Despatch will be against bank transfer and by courier, securely packaged.
How do I put what I need to dispose of on team-bhp.com? I have a pdf file with names, descriptions and pics, and I wonder if I could upload the whole thing in one go.
Please do let me know.
Thanks and best wishes,
CLYDE

hello. nice collection you got there. i appreciate the look of those displays. but are these only die cast models or actually running R/C cars. cuz i'm a big fan of scale replicas of cars but i like them to be radio controlled.
