Team-BHP - Nokia 9300

Alrite guys..need a lil help here. I've just got the Nokia 9300, seems to be pretty good. But here are a few questions i have which hopefully some of u could clear up :D

1.I need to change the skins/themes on the mobile. But there isn't an option like that i think but it is possible as i read abt it in www.allaboutymbian.com, but didn't understand a word.

2.Could someone tell me the setting for converting videos thru Smart Movie Converter?

3.Since its a smart phone, there will be programms still running if u don't close them which just slows down the phone. Any idea how i can check what all progs are running, and close them?

For downloads for Nokia 9300 get yourself registered in Yahoo Groups.
Inside Yahoo Groups u can search for 9300 related groups register with them from there u will get all the downloadable goodies from the site.

First of all congrates for ur new phone.

i have software named colors for changing the skins.
for smartmovie settings do u have installed xvid codec on ur pc? if yes then select codec xvid encoder into smartmovie convertor then 128 bitrate for audio select frequency to 22050,bitrate128.
if u want to close running programs just press the menu button there will be a list of running programs u can close it from the buttons near ur display.

u need a converter for smart movie i gt the unlock key software for it when u gt the coverter let me know i use a 9500 also hving softwares ( both hv the same soft ) i can give u

I"ve got smart movie and the unlocker. But after converting when i play the files on the mobile, they don't play properly. They video is like jerking, dunno if its cuz of the bitrate.

bullseye. Its becaue of the bitrate. The cpu is not exactly fast enough.

So can u tell me the correct bit rate..i did try 256, 128, 11, and 96 but still no luck. So should i try above 256 or below 96??

me too owns a 9300 its a cool phone in the starting its a brand new piece so it takes lil time for booting dont worry ,its speed will increase as u use it for softwares directly log on nokias site which www.nokia.co.in or try other sites for symbian software like www.handango.com , all applications of symbian types works for 9300 n about the video files all types can be played on my phone its an inbuilt video player n music player both r different n too play simultanous operations just start any application like any song in music player then press menu button in the keypad n start any other application simultaneously

well depends a billed one will cost around 27k now without bill depends on the grey market matbe 22k or something like that or even lesser!!!!!!a nokia priority dealer will cost the highest .....
