Palm Lifedrive PDA

Hi,

Just wanted to know, does anyone else here have a Palm Lifedrive PDA?

If so, when did you buy it, how much did you pay, and what do you mainly use it for?

Also, with those in cities/towns that have WiFi hotspots, how do you find the device for browsing the net?

I dont own it, but I have used it a lot. For a hard-drive pda its pretty light-weight. Uses a 4gig microdrive from Hitachi.

Easier, simpler and much more powerful to a comparable windows pocket pc. It does more work with the same cpu than a windows pda. battery life is better too but battery is not user replaceable. uses a intel xscale 416mhz cpu.

Looks good too. The screen is very bright and wonderful with both portrait and landscape modes for your convenience.

No camera here. Pocket Tunes, likely the most popular MP3 player for Palm is included rather than the less full-featured Real Player for Palm bundled with other Palm handhelds

Garnet 5.4 is the latest OS but not really as productive as expected.
