I am interested to know if any BHPian plays the Hill Climb Racing game on their mobile phone.
I came across this game (my eight year old son downloaded it on my windows mobile while we were travelling in a train) two weeks ago and let me warn you, its very very addictive.
I have suggested this game to n no. of people since then and thought of posting it on T-BHP as this is a driving oriented game. As there are no threads on games related to mobiles, thought of dedicating an exclusive thread to this game as IMHO, it deserves it.
Available platforms : Android, Windows, iOS
IMO this game can be best enjoyed on a tablet, so I am planning to buy one just for the game.:D
This is coming from a person who doesn't like to play games on mobiles and hasn't played too many games all these years.stupid:

The best game for a mobile, tablet and a Laptop till date. I have it on my mobile (Samsung S III) and my Dell Inspiron laptop that runs on Windows 8.1 so download the game from Store.
Very involving, engrossing and addictive. Physics and real life grabbing graphics have been out in this game. Larger the screen addictive it is!
I have been playing it from long and now to be frank bored of it. All levels and vehicles unlocked. Most used vehicle is:
1) Race car and
2) Truck.
Highest level reached is in the Highway mode at Level 33 (10600m).

One more fan of this game here. I have unlocked all the stages and almost all cars. Wasting about 2 hours daily on this game. Favorite cars: Truck, Tank, Hovercraft. At present, upgrading Buggy and Rally Car.
The fact is that, whenever my mobile is in my hands, I play this. One of the most simplest yet addictive games i have ever played. It works beautifully even on low end phones like lumia 520.
Till date I have fully upgraded almost every vehicle and waiting for more vehicles and stages in coming update.
My favorite vehicles are Dune Buggy, Truck, Super Diesel 4*4 and rally car!
Just like all the games..it will keep you on your toes for quite some time!! The best part i guess is having race car on the highway (you get a lot of coins if you do that too) and the tank on the beach!! Your 8 year old downloaded it and i got addicted because my 4 year old niece downloaded it. :D The most difficult one i guess is the mountain! I have tried almost all vehicles but it doesnt go above a certain level!
To earn coins take the bike and use it on the moon. It will help you earn a lot of coins to unlock everything. The best ride is the monster truck. It literally can go anywhere. Enjoy the game.
I knew this game and wanted to download this for a long time but did not get the opportunity to do. When I saw this thread, the first thing I did was to download the game and I am already glued to my mobile :D

For a newbie : First thing to do is unlock Moon Stage and upgrade Monster Truck or Race Car to collect coins real quick.
I have unlocked all the stages and all the vehicles but have fully upgraded few of them, so till then the motivation is there, will be interesting to see afterwards.

I used to play this a year back. Then got bored. Looks like they have added new vehicles as well now. Thanks OP. Will start playing again.

IMO this game can best be enjoyed on a tablet. I played this game on Samsung Galaxy Note 2, my Lumia 620 and on a 4000 rupee Tab (of my niece) and the experience on tab is better even though display was of inferior quality. I also read somewhere that Tab is mainly used by people for playing games, so I think its common. One more advantage of Tab is that mobile remains free, so longer battery backup.
One more feature I noted yesterday that after your chance/attempt is over, if you pause the game before the next screenshot comes and press restart, the game is restarted and the coins collected in the previous attempt does not lapse, so you can save precious 2-3 seconds lost between two attempts.
I used to be fully addicted to this game a while back! It didn't have this many vehicles and levels when I was playing it around a year back!
The biggest pain point with the game back then was that it didn't have any checkpoints. So I had to start all over from the beginning of the level each time! Is it still the same?
I am thinking of installing this again after seeing this thread! :uncontrol

Anyway I tried this on iPad, and seems like I am also getting addicted. Let's spread this addiction in office :)
Was addicted to this game last year on my iphone5, never played it after I changed my phone... Seems like I need to download it again.
Stopped playing when I became stuck at a particular descent. But the game surely has well sorted mechanics and graphics.
More happy with the good ol' Candy Crush. stupid:
