Actually the 4.5 version we are using is DOS Based. The newer one is just a demo, not much fun as you don't get all the options.

... i know its very interesting program...

I played with it a lot....
I just searched my HDD.. and I think I had deleted the modified DATA file.

I had added a lot of cars... at least all Marutis...

What I was doing was.. adjusted the coefficient of drag by hit and trial.. to achieve the almost same figure for 0-100 as done by ACI.

I think I even posted about this thing at the ACI forum... but hardly any takers.

I remember .. this program used to work better in windows 9x/Me... its slower in XP/2003 .. .. specially when u do all car ranking and the likes.

Check all the parameters once again. Also check the metric system that have been used. Also parameters like "%weight on front wheel", "drag coeff" are wild guess.

The only parameter i can cross verify is FE. It says 11.7 in city and i get not more that 10. For higway it says 17.24 and i got 16.

SLK your Wagon is too fast, my WR does 100 in around 14.1 (similar to ACI figures) secs and laps the monte carlo in 2min 39.3 secs at 70.9kmph average speed.

Let us know the peremeters and i'll tell you what you need to change.

As for the Accent, i agree, on paper they look very good a quick, but, maybe if you can increase frictional loss it might work. Or see if there'a an option for "wrong bhp figures". LOL

here it is....
when I did it in 2001, I did manage to get the exact ... top speed and 0-100 figures....
and yes.. if u find a way to.. slow down the WagonR... do the same for Santro..LOL
Remember WagonR is now 64bhp@6200rpm
I have kept 1000 start rpm with slip. (for it to be slow but... doesn't help)

I'm sure thats 64 PS and not BHP!

infact, i've have the July 04' issue of Overdrive with me and according to this, it's 62.9 PS which comes to 61bhp (exactly what i used).

ok.. i'll do the changes...

But really?... you trust overdirve for figures? ...
Overdrive is a fiction magazine.. they can't get a single fact right.

This is from the Maruti site... well maruti can lie... but whatever it is... this is the official figure.

hey where did u get the gear ratios from?
They limit the WagonR at 129km/h 5th gear@6800rpm ...LOL

And the Vtec... goes 102km/h in 2nd .. so its missing the 3rd shift it requires to get to 100.
