Guys I need some help...
I may plan to buy a mobilephone in coming times..
Currently I have a nokia 3660..so i want to upgrade it..

My range is somewhere upto Rs.20000/- to Rs25000/-

I liked the sonyericcson w850i and w900i..But never used a Sony piece before..So I have some doubts...
Also I am very used to the symbian s60 os..As you could download any software of your choice..And it was very userfriendly..

What I need in my phone is..
1. Good clear and Loud sound quality..(i mean the sound from the loudspeaker not the headphones..)
2. A camera, good enough to post the pics on the net..
3. Good speed..I mean for running applications..

Also I am planning to keep this phone for a long time.

So what do you guys suggest??

Nokia N73 or SE W850i..

I like nokia but never heard a sound like sony ericcson..



In nokia I think the N80 is also in the given range..

also it got wifi if I am not mistaking..

So what from nokia n73 or n80??



I am a little towards w850i as never had any se phone..and also love its sound...

By the way now have the following choices..Help me to choose:

1. Sony ericcson w850i

2. Sony ericcson w900i

3. Nokia n73

4. Nokia n80

As far as i know there is no Wifi in N80 but its in N73.

SE has best speakers but it is not symbian so you will not be able to install Third party applications.

N73 is the best deal with 3.2 MP camera at 19K.

Check out the K800i. Its fabulous. 3.2MP camera, 64mb inbuilt memory, push e-mail, edge, direct blog etc. I'm getting mine on Tuesday.

considering ur requirements, i shudnt be posting this but if u are willing to sacrifice on the camera front, the SE W950i is a fantastic buy. its got 4 GB Flash memory inbuilt. plus its touchscreen with Symbian UIQ v3 OS.
if u definately need the camera, u can also check out SE P990i. it doesnt have the 4 GB memory but its got a 2MP camera plus a flip panel.

go for the sony ericsson k790i with 3.2mp camera with xenon flash,excellent sound quality.and its retail price is 18k

your wrong n80 has wifi whereas n73 doesnt have wifi

whats the price of n73 in grey and bill both. dont mind inputs from out of mumbai too. thanks, looking to buy one too...

What is the exact price of this phone ? Most online sources say 29K, but some people are also saying 22K.

Why this discrepancy ? Can anyone confirm the price ?

Do not go for K800i, I had a really bad experience with K800i.
have a look at some other options.

w950i..is costing me Rs.28000/- it doesnt have a camera but does have a 4gb hard disk,touchscreen,etc..
Yes it sure is tempting..but I need a nice camera to capture pics of cars that I see on road and be able to post them here..so I need atleast this much quality in the cam..

n73..hmm...I think there is also going to be a music version of it...(like walkman in sonyericsson)

n80 does have wifi..can be a nice option..but I am still a student who doesnt need too much of internet..(its true i cant sleep without logging here..)

Sonyericcson phones..No one has in our family has ever used a Se phones..So i have no reviews about it..
