One question to all the gurus here, if I download the Blu Ray movies(1080p) form internet and store it in my External HDD, can it be played in Samsung plasma tv with USB connection??? or it requires any special software support?? |
Some .mkv format can create issue if the audio is DTS encoded. The TV normally will not have the encoder. I faced this issue with my LG LX6500 which is a 3D model. But i have a 3D blue ray player which also has USB. This BD player has DTS encoder and it played these files without any issues.
Team,
Yesterday I got my Samsung 40" LED C6200 TV Delivered. I bought it from Sharp-Tronics, Hosur. I met Mr.Saravanan - manager of the showroom and he was very kind to explain me the difference between LCD and LED, He gav me Demo of all Sony, LG, Panasonic and Samsung.
I Initially went to buy an LCD and later after seeing the clarity on LED I decided on Samsung LED.
Offers - Free Dish TV and V-Guard Stabilizer, Free home Delivery and Wall Mount
Cost - 75k.
Please let me know your reviews on this model and if I had got it for a good price.
Please share some Tips on wall mounting, like the best position .. etc.

I got the series 7 Samsung 3d LED two months ago for 78k. So I'm not sure how good a price you got.
Although I believe Samsung reworked their range and pricing to discontinue my TV and price the series6 around the same price.
Bought Philips 32'' LED for 28K as a special offer. Picture quality is excellent, with 2 USB supports all media formats, but there is a kind of ghosting when watching Movies Now HD channel alone, and lot of grains in SUN TV for certain advertisements, not sure whether it is problem with the TV or the Airtel HD.
After reducing the sharpness to 0 it was good but I am losing the razor sharp pictures.
The response time is 6.5 ms, with 50Hz refresh rate, is this good enough to avoid ghosting. Any settings to be done ?
Hi All,
Based on a most confusing research ( since there are never ending models and makes of TV in the market now ) - a Panny 50 inch plasma seems to be the best buy ( since im not into sports )...
Narrowed down to either the P50U30D or the P50V20D( if i get a tempting price )
So what are the current best prices in NCR region ? and location/dealer to contact? :Frustrati
Folks am looking at upgrading my Panasonic LCD 32" which has been with me for the last 3 years. Worked flawlessly and no problems what so ever.
Am thoroughly confused now if I would need to go in for a LED or a Plasma and even more confused on what brand to choose. If its a LED which brand and same with the Plasma's, I can do away with a 42/46 inches one. Need some help chaps.
Have a Sony 46 inch LED for the last 6+ months, and a sony 32 inch LCD for the last 3+years.
The most used feature is DLNA, where I network my devices with the TV. Seems to work really fine with the Sony 46 incher.
With decoder at the PC side it almost plays all formats.
Went to a Duty paid shop at the airport yesterday. Saw few TV's on display. Asked the price and they quoted
40" Samsung LED TV - 60k
40" Sony Bravia LCD TV - 37k
A good deal?
Recently bought
Samsung 40" LED TV from states along with Panasonic
BDP110 and some other stuff. It was a big upgrade from 10yr old 21" CRT TV and wait was worth it.
Picture quality is just breathtaking with HD channel and blu-ray discs but buying LED Tv is proving to be very expensive for me.Spent around 20K for custom made cabinet,10K for BR discs and 5K for HD Dish TV.lol

In December 2010, panasonic showroom's best price was 65k and dealer's best price was around 63k. I had checked multiple showrooms in Bangalore. |
I paid 66 for it in September and wall mounted by the company installer free of charge.
Till date whoever has seen it has said it is better that all their LCD's. It's a plasma and the most important thing is that i replaced my 5 year old cable to avoid a joint at the wall socket. Now a single cable runs from the LNB to the Airtel HD-DTH box.
Connected it to my lan and it has got a new firmware update.
Panasonic has recently launched a new model in X series (42" & 52") - its on their India website
Talking specifically about the 42" - can anyone tell what is the diff between 42x30d & 42x20d? The specs on the website look greek to me.

X20 is a 2010 model and X30 is a 2011 model. X30 has the advanced G14 panel, USB input, DLNA...in short it is better than the X20. Get it for ~38K

how much are going to pay for it? The Tv"s good but 6 series is much better with higher motion clearing rate..although you end paying more
