How to Synch video files to IPOD?

I have a 30GB Apple Video IPOD. I am facing a strange problem and not able to even get it resolved after reading the online manual.

I synch all my music, photos from Itunes 7.0 software that is downloaded on my notebook. However, i can only synch videopodcasts downloaded from Itunes.

I am not able to synch the video files that are available on my harddrive. None of the files i am able to copy to my Ipod ( .Avi, 3GP, Real Video etc)

Please suggest the way to sych ( copy) my video files to my apple ipod?

The video ipod will only play and take mp4 files. So first u need to ensure that the files u add to your itunes library is in mp4 format. If you have mp4 files then on the itunes goto file -> add file/folder to library -> select the mp4 file -> connect the ipod -> it will sync the video file. If you still having a problem even with mp4 file, then you should consider formating your ipod and then retrying. Make sure your music is all there in itunes before formatting the ipod.

The absolutely best software i've ever used to convert ANY video to ipod quality MP4 is iSquint.
It's freeware, so a simple search should get you results. Then a video playlist and navin's your uncle.

Synching Ipod to two different computers

I got an 80GB ipod yesterday, I used i-tunes and succesfully loaded all my songs and video clips from work computer.
When I connected my ipod to my laptop , iTunes is not allowing me to load anything, now how can I load songs and video clips from my laptop.
Is there any other programs other than iTunes that will help to synch the Ipod to two different computers.

Thanks in advance.

Firstly, you need to install itunes in both computers. Secondly when the computer recognizes the ipod, go to the main menu on the ipod and select manual synchronization and give the path of each folder where the songs and videos are situated. That should resolve the problem
