iPod Nano Up To Some Mischief Again

My 4 GB iPod nano is acting up again. This time the bottom half of the screen has gone almost completely white. There are some mild vertical lines, bluish in color that can only be noticed if observed closely. The top half works perfectly fine. Any clue whats going on here? To the best of my knowledge, the pod hasn't bounced off the floor for a while now.

Sir I think your screen has been pushed so hard that it has got damaged....I would recommend to get it checked the first thing tomm by a good repair guy...these nano are very delicate when it comes to screens...when the nano was launched there were many complains about the screens getting damaged.....

There is little chance that this will help but you can try rebooting it. I doubt this is gonna make things better if LBM is right about the screen damage.

seems like the screen has gone for a toss.. either the connector/terminals or the liquid inside the screen itself is the culprit

if u can or know someone who can open up and service, check the screen connectors first, if ur lucky cleaning the terminals might help, if not see if replacing the screen works

ipods are difficult to service, so check with the dealer also if they have some option of servicing

I know it's a old thread but still writing it !!!
If still you are facing problem and haven't done anything
for it , the best solution is i must say to take it to apple store or service center!!

If you were in delhi there's a service center in NFC market !!

I was facing a problem in ipod (purchased from US) it wasn't getting ON.

So took to service center and believe me it took 15 minutes to get a new ipod and without even showing the bill or anything else!!!

I dont know about the mumbai !!!
