Which shop did your friend purchase it from? I have tried some 10-15 shops in bangalore both big and small but no luck. Shop details will be highly helpful

It came with three sets of removable plates - waffle, toast and grill. It even has a grease run off system where the grease collect in the supplied plastiv container.

This one does not mention anything about the removal of plates. Again, it is two slice only.

we have been using a Whirlpool washing machine for about 6 years and looks like I will have to get a replacement soon. Im not very happy with the current one and may not go for Whirlpool again.

So as a prelimenary check went to http://compareindia.in.com/ to see some products and saw 4 types of "Wash Methods": Pulsator, Tumble, Agitator, Pugilator. Tried googling to figure out the difference between them and I couldnt understand much. Any idea what these are? Which one would be more water efficient?

Mom always adds some clothes once washing has started which may not be possible in a front loaded one. Is there anything really advantageous in a front loaded one over a top loaded one?

Also any suggestion for a sub 20k Washer is welcome.

I am a bit confused by your 2 slice nomenclature. The models I have and whose link I sent, grill 2 sandwiches, that is 4 slices of bread at a time - 2 slices side by side with two more on top. As stated my model has 3 sets of removable plates. If it is possible please visit a large retail shop to evaluate the models. In Delhi most major retailers have at least six to seven models on display.

For 4 slices, that is 8 bread pieces you will get only commercial versions in India. Here is what I found on the net

OK. So, that part is confusing in this context.
I am looking at two sandwiches at a time. This means, four slides of bread which can be put in at a time.

The earlier link that you sent talks about a capacity of '2 slices'. To me, it seemed that we can prepare only one square sandwich at a time. This is what the road side sandwich wallas can prepare through the equipment that they have which is put on the gas burner.


So, in case of the model you own, you can actually put in four slices (2 sandwiches) at a time? Then that is good for me.
I will checkout some malls to see if I get that model.

When a sandwich toaster says 2 slices it means two slices side by side and not two slices one on top of the other:D

Though it is not stated explicitly, there are three sets of plates one each for grilling, sandwich and waffles. This is one of the reasons I prefer to visit the store and evaluate the appliance.

I need service for LG 1.5T 5* Split ac. I do routinely clean the dust all over and take out the mesh and wash/clean them too once in 2 months or so, and uses brush. But over the ~4 years I have always been thinking of cleaning it taking out these frames too, since they restrict the normal cleaning very much and hence specific hard to reach areas look so messy + efficiency should have got affected too. (Though cooling speed is fine to my observation) Vacuum doesn't help much since dust in most areas are like sticky.

What should I "specifically request" for this type of cleaning and how much should I expect charged for this, through LG Support? Any one done it recently? I believe it is not very much a DIY thing since one might end up doing damage to fins and delicate stuff.

I don't know how much it costs, but I think it's called 'Wet Service'.

One other big benefit is save you real estate. The top of the machine is usable, whether on its own or under the platform.

All three types - twin tub, top loader and front loader have their own markets. The first is most popular in Japan, the second in the US, and the last in Europe.
