Problem with N73!!

HI I use a Nokia N73..
Its a very good phone..

Now the problem..

You may be knowing the sound from loudspeakers is very good..
But when ever I try using the headset I am dissappionted..
The sound level is too low and there is no bass effect..
I mean If you hear the SE phones they are very good..

I have an attachment which has the music player and in which a 3mm/3.5mm(I dont know) is used..

I tried using different headphone..Like the ones from ipod shuffle..etc, But they didnt have any effect,,

Also I used the N91 Bose headset...It also didnt have much effect..But when I tried it on the N91 the sound quality was outstanding..The loudest I have heard./.

Now I wanted to know why does the same headphone have different effect on different phones???

Any solutions?

N91 has special chip installed to provide better sound quality, you should try to adjust the equalizer that will help.

if ur finding it too soft this is what you should do.

go to equiliser. create a new one and put all the bars to the top. then attach your headphones and see.

hey i have an n73 too yea do what akshay is saying go to equaliser and put all the bars on full....if that does not help probably the songs you are transferring have a low bitrate..the quality of music is quite good on mine with the ear phones but obviously you cant expect it to be as good as an ipod or any other dedicated music player..

If the headphone out is a standard EP socket, try other headphones. The In ear ones are quite nice if you can tolerate them (most youngsters today seem ok with them).

Thanks Guys!!

I tried putting all the bars of the equi to max..
Yes It did have some effect but not that much..

The thing I need is the thump in my ears..which I did get when I listened to a Sony Ericcson,,,and the N91..
Most of the songs I have are in Mp3 format ranging from 128 kbs to 160 kbps

I use the in-ears headphones..

Get virtual DJ and increase the db of low and mid voices of the song and save it..

I too think so,.,

I mean there has to be some kind of extra features in the N91..Which makes it sound better,,

May be thats the reason for its big size...

Well i too found the sound quality of the earphones of the Nokia N73-ME sub-standard. I recently bought Creative EP-630(in-ear) earphones which fit the 3.5mm connector of the N-73 perfectly and boy the sound quality has reached another level altogether. I auditioned quite a few earphones from the likes of Sony and Creative but in the end found the Creative EP-630 perfect. I paid 1k for the earphones and got them from Heera-Panna, Mumbai.

Cheers
