Galaxy Watch Ultra LTE - Will the eSim work in India

Hi all,

A close friend is getting a Galazy watch ultra LTE from the USA and was checking if the esim and other features work in India. I tried checking with Airtel and Samsung guys, and they have differing opinions - Airtel says it will work, Samsung says doesn't (to be fair the Samsung store guy seemed quite clueless ). Any BhPian has experience with this situation?

Yes, as long as you pair it with a Samsung phone

I have Samsung gear watch with LTE having eSIM. It works.

You need to check for radio bands to see if it works. eSIM will work.

My friend had a galaxy watch 4 LTE which was bought from USA few years back. Jio/Airtel one of the carriers worked fine with it and one did not. Also samsung pay was not working for him.
