Which is the best SONY model HDD Handycam

Dear friends I am planning to buy an Hard disk driven handy cam from Sony and I am totally confused by the various specs pls help me out which is the best model and any body using it reviews pls, also i find there is an vast price difference bet the grey and the one available in the Sony showroom where to buy? Advice needed.
