Hey Guys,
Iam starting this thread to bring our XBox Live members together here on the group. Request everyone to share your XBox Live ID here... We shall use this thread to host games and schedule games for a weekend where all of us can meet and have fun over the XBox Live network . First please introduce yourselves and share information in the format below.

How does Xbox live work? What type of connection does one need to connect to the server?

Xbox Live is a subscription based service which allows you to play games online with friends, or even search for online games with other bored souls. I think it will work even if you have a 512Kbps connection. I use a 10Mbps though. Have tried on 512 also, works fine. And since a few months, available in India also - Xbox.com | India - Xbox LIVE

Much fun cause you can voice chat with the guys you are playing. The wireless controller comes with a headphone/microphone set for that.

Heello FB1... Connect your XBOX to your DSL modem using the Ethernet port behind your Xbox next to the controller usb port. Before you connect the box to the DSL please switch off the modem and the xbox once and connect them together. And in the market place or xbox live option you can click on join xbox and pay using the xbox itself.... enjoy mate...

I've got my 360 connected through the WiFi USB adapter. I had a 256 Kbps connection earlier & occasionally faced lag in Forza 2 - with Halo 3 however, I had no lag at all.

i have a question for you guys. im probably getting a 360 in the next few months. when i connect my dsl modem to my comp i have to set many things before it gets connected to the net. will i have to do all those things with the xbox also?

tadukuttan and myself had a nice time over the Live network for almost 3 hours racing each other on Forza2. It was fun and Iam looking forward to doing it again.... Hope more guys join the network and we can have good time racing vituallly...
