I am using a ZIPPY's case for my 160gb hard drive. Its been more than a year and no problems at all.

How can you find the USB speed, if its USb1.1 or USB2 ??

I think the transfer rate is slow.

Go for intex based hdd encasing available cheap around 1.5k . I had bought one around a year ago at that price. It is a pata case and guessing that since you have a 20 gb hdd it should be pata . Hope this helps,

Even buying a simple thing in my city is a pain

I have used the zippy casing. It has some issues like its slow, and another one which I bought, called Advik seems to be better than it. Till now no issues. But yes,Transcend is really good!
