Any experience with Acer laptop repairs

Fellow BHPians,

Has any one got Acer laptops repaired in B'lore or H'bad. I had bought Aspire 2012 WLMI is the US in 2004 along with 3 years International warranty (after the first year manufacurer's ITW). Recently the hinges that hold screen to base have gone bad and it has been difficult to open/ close the screen. I stopped using it because of this.

I would appreciate if experiences with Acer laptop repair can be shared.

Acer is useless.
I too faced the same issue.
The acer *** guy took my money and didnt fixed the hinge for 4 f$*&king months.
Had to threaten him with dire consequences if he either didnt repair or didnt return my money.
I got the hinge fabricated from another local dealer.

yeah...you can get it done ACER clinic center @ bangalore....you can get it done there...If you are interested ...pm me,i'll give their contact details...
