what is the deal with blue rays?

i have a ps3 bought from australia. it says region 4 blue ray games and region b movies. now ive heard all games are region free, is that true? so i can buy games from the us also? what about movies? if the games are region free how come i see a globe with a 4 on the back of the games i bought here in australia. also how do i figure out if a blue ray is region free? thanks guys please reply quick.

Region B : E[/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-1][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-1]urope, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand

You will be able to play DVDs from US...n other countries with NO REGION CODES.
I doubt DVDs with other codes;

n Of course you have Various Software to break free from this(in other words CRACK).

Can anyone confirm the region code on the GT5 sold in India?

All games will work on any PS3 (not region locked)

Movies are region specific. (70% of BRs are region free)

Games are not region specific..they wouldn't be stupid enough to do that..coz that way their sales would be affected considering the fact that most people order it online from the countries where its released.. The movies are region coded..that problem can be sorted by using region free discs
