Pretty sure it is a hoax. Have seen many such e mails and also there is no iPhone '4G' 64 GB

Prolly am the first guy on this forum who is disliking my latest acquisition iPhone 5. Coming from Windows Phone 7.5 and Nokia E72, except for the apps, i dont find this phone exciting at all. Planning to dispose this as soon as Samsung Ativ S hits the market.

6.0.2 released, no major stuff apart from some fix for wifi issues for iPhone 5 and iPad Mini. I have an IP5 did not face any issues earlier or now, after the upgrade.

Definitely a scam. Any company with an email ID like SMARTMODERNTECHNOLOGY @ LIVE.COM doesnt sound credible. And Google Nexus @29,500 INR is outrageous.

You know what they say about things that are too good to be true...

99% this is a hoax. Just call him again and tell that you can come personally to the address and will pay after checking the product there itself. If he says ok then i'll see if i can go and check it out.

No one asks advance for COD after-all thats what it is meant for.

Today there was Full size add on Times of India Bangalore with Iphone 5 Written on top and Photo of Iphone 5, nothing else, no price or any other details. And in the next page Full size add of Iphone 4 and price given on it.

I dont know what to make of this add? Is it to say see Iphone 5 but buy Iphone 4 for Rs 26,500?

I am pretty sure it is a scam. Earlier this year I came across someone trying to pull something similar in Mumbai and the way they operate is as follows:

• You transfer courier money to their account.
• They'll give you a shipping number (device shipped from a foreign country)
• Then would tell you that the device is stuck at Indian custom and would ask you to pay the balance so that they could clear it through custom.
• If you pay, your money is gone.

Guys, request a help on media transfer:
We have apps using which we can directly copy, say video files, by drag and drop to the particular app (among the list of such apps shown in itunes, & kept in a separate section at bottom pane). I was using "mediaplayer" (one with that red "play" icon) among a few others available.
i am not seeing such an option after I downloded the latest itunes 11.01 (or whatever that came just a few days back)
Any body know why? any body facing same issue? any solution? Any other app recommendation?

Punter, go to the itunes view menu and choose Show Sidebar. Click on your device name like you used to before. You should now have the apps tab.

EDIT- I hope you meant the apps for the iPhone and not windows.

Things done in a haste doesn't give results. Otherwise Should have easily seen that sidebar itself is missing and would have looked at how to restore it first. (in earlier version it is visible by default, and here it is not)

Every day some paid apps are made free on app store for a limited period of time. Yesterday Whatsapp was free. Download appsgonefree from app store to know what all apps are free on a given day. You can also suggest apps you want free using appsgonefree.
