As a new/first Apple user, I have a query for veterans
Like many I have downloaded my apps from app store. I note that as soon as iam in wifi zone, most of these apps get updated automatically ( How does that happen?)
Secondly, the updates are ridiculously high ranging from 14mb to 50-60mb ( some apps like fb proudly claim of updating their apps daily:Shockked:)....My question is with so many updates happening will it eat into my phone storage? or the updates write on top of exiting app size?
I use a 6+ ( 64 GB)

Welcome to Apple club.
There option: settings -> Itunes & app stores, you can see Automatic downloads options. You can select or deselect updates there.
App updates replace old one. it doesn't eat up extra space.
I am currently using Iphone 6S 64GB.

Go to Settings-> App and iTunes Stores -> Automatic downloads.
You can turn off Apps from the list. Don't worry about the storage, the apps overwrite existing file. There could be a marginal increase or decrease in size.
Guys I joined the iphone club last week but I havent been able to install iTunes on my desktop. Tried everything, but end up with an error during startup which says that the application crashed. When i looked into the details, I found out that Coreaudiotool something is the faulty module. I even tried downloading that DLL from a website and replacing it. Didnt work.
Did anyone face the same problem? I spent the whole of yesterday trying all possible things and nothung worked. Same error everytime. Please help me out.
OTOH its a brilliant product and I am especially amazed by garageband. Comes close to my korg synthesizer in terms of its capability to play a single sound.

Try an elevated privilege install, if you haven't done that already.
Hi,
Got myself an iPhone 6s 64gb, please do suggest some good apps related to cars.
Secondly, what do you guys recommend as the best way to charge the phone 0to100 or multiple charges at different times but never really to 100.
Found some divergent views on the net, the S3 and BB 9780 which I had earlier gave me super battery life with mostly 0 to 100 charging.
Got the spigen slim armour for the phone and a tempered glass cover too!
Regards
Shailesh

Uninstall and run the setup file as an administrator. That might help.

Absolutely. I am in love with Garageband (especially on the iPad) and its smart instruments. I think the sound is excellent because GarageBand uses samples unlike Korg which really synthesizes the sound of an instrument. But the sheer array of instruments and how you can tweak them to your liking is amazing.

Tried both. Tried reinstalling some 15 times with different setup files from different sources. Still no use. I get the same error message everytime. I ran it as administrator too, still it did not work. Any other ideas?
iCloud keeps crashing on Windows 10 laptop, but iTunes used to work. However, from past week iTunes doesn't detect my iPhone 5S and when connected I get a message on the phone to allow the laptop to access the iPhone's photos. Weird.
Anyhoo, upgraded to iPhone 6S 64GB Space Grey early this week. It's a piece of art. Got it from Amazon. Also got the MTT toughened screen protector and slim case for it (was handling the phone with utmost care until these two arrived). I must say it gives a premium look and feel to the already premium phone.
I'm loving it para pa pa pa! :D
PS: Mine is the one with the TSMC processor (thank you Lord) and the battery life is awesome, even with LTE. Yesterday I paired it with my Sena SMH10-11 and was using it all through the breakfast ride (which lasted till noon) and the battery drain was less than 20%.

I just check mine (iPhone 6S 64gb silver), it has samsung chip :Frustrati.
I noticed that my phone quickly heats up when playing games like real racing & infinity blade.
I also have problem with camera. 4 out of 10 times, it goes blank for 6-8 seconds when i open camera app.

Did you try update while having iTunes running or close, it should be closed. And no installing iTunes again will not solve the issue.

iTunes was open. Closed it, disconnected the cable and reconnected. Still doesn't allow me to update.
Faced an issue with my recently purchased iphone 6 yesterday. I wanted to update to ios 9.1 for which I first downloaded the update to my PC but when I tried to install it in my phone an Unknown error (6) was coming up repeatedly.
Read and tried almost everything that I could find on the web to resolve this issue but nothing worked.
Went to the Apple ASC today and they were able to update the phone to 9.1 without any problem.
They could not give me a convincing answer to the problem that I faced so I am still not sure why this error came.
