Hi all,

I am looking to buy an S Video cable which also has a 3.5 mm stereo jack on one end (so that it can go into the Headphone socket of the laptop), and Audio-Video connectors at the other end.

The usage would be :
1. To connect my laptop to my LCD via S Video output to watch movies
2. To get the sound output (preferably) through my Home Theater system (which would need component audio cable)
or
3. If Option 2 is not possible, then a composite A/V (that Red-White-Yellow) connector end so that I can at least get the sound from my LCD

I found this on Ebay (eBay India: (Stereo Audio, S-Video) to 3 RCA A/V Cable - 1.5 Mts (item 380033767405 end time 09-Jun-2008 23:08:40 IST)) and it seems to closely match my Option 1+3.

However, as stated, my first preference would be Option 1+2.

Could someone suggest brands, prices and places to buy it in Mumbai?

Just buy an S Video cable for the video, and a 3.5mm to Stereo RCA cable for the audio. i.e. 2 seperate cables.

If you want audio from the HT system, you need a digital out on the laptop.
