hey... WAP associated stuff.....tagtag, esato and zedge are the classics....

Ringtones - www.polyphonicringtonez.com/wap/index.php
Otherwise download .mid (MIDI a.k.a. polyphonic) files them to your PC, where you can upload them to your zedge accoutn and retrieve them from your phone....this is especially helpful when you dont have a Bluetooth/IR connection between PC and phone....can be used for stuff other than ringtones too

on tagtag there is this guy called cargosq who has great content.....he's been on my bookmark list for a while...and updates content often enough

my apologies....got lasyk mixed up.....you can browse on your computer....just need to log in to the main lasyk page wap.lasyk.net and enter the download ID to get your file....

guys is there any site from where i can get wallpapers, tones etc. sent directly to the mobile. And in yahoo they charge u money to get poly tones and all rite??

Hey revtech...GPRS is the protocol to connect your mobile to the net, WAP is the format (like HTML) in which sites are developed so that you can watch it on your tiny mobile screen. Hope this clears your doubt...

There are a huge amount of WAP sites..based on what exactly you are looking for...wap.google.com is the best site like it's counterpart on the net, your gateway to the information on WAP world...

most of them are generally free
however whenever downloading you generally get message informing about price

p.s. : you might need to set settings for GPRS connections ask you mobile service provider
