This is what got me thinking for a while. A new one for 6k or repairs @ 3k. At the end of the day the PS is up for 1/2 the cost, so i think it was worth to get it repaired. There is no warranty.

Not necessarily you will need to spend 3k. Depends on the defect in your PS. Can be done for less too.
