Got my Casio PRW 1500, the Ultimate Protrek!

I got my Casio PRW 1500, the ultimate Protrek today. Although big its surprisingly light.
It gets everything that Pro trek range is famous for and more.

Some of the salient features

Wow, I love that watch. Used to own a twincept databank(the metal one, world time, phone numbers floating on the screen) long time ago and loved it (it still hurts that it got stolen). Sadly that particular model was not available after that.

How much did it set u back by ?

Nice one. Although the altimeters based on pressure change need some calibration from time to time.

I got it for 12k's all inclusive. Asked my friend to buy it for me from UK.

12k ? .... why not riseman then ? .Is this better than Riseman ?

Yup its much better than the riseman which comes with only 2 sensors... alti and baro. This has a lot more.

Nice ,have Casio databank 50 , casio w 96h , casio calculator Fx 100 . Would like to get riseman . Congrats .

I am looking for a hardy Casio Watch which will have mainly altitude, temp, digital compass readouts. Would be grateful for any information on the entry level costs, features etc., on various models. I found that the following Casio Brands are available around 12-15 k range, many models are available.

Pathfinder around 15 K
PRG-80L-2VDR (SL29)= 12 k

Any other brands with just the alt, temp, comass readouts & are there any watches with GPS?
