Tripod suggestions for 10k?

Main use is portraits and vacation. No micro/wildlife. Should support min 2kg weight. Should not be flimsy as the camera kit is a bit expensive (for me atleast). No trekking but should fit air travel bags. Budget 10k but flexible. Thanks.

If you have 10K budget, dont look beyond Manfrotto. They are one of the best in business. Last time I checked, BH photo had some which could take upto 4kgs for $220.

I have a Manfroto but I am not sure if it meets your weight criteria. It is fairly heavy.

Reviving an old thread.

What would you suggest for 10K budget. I need a good sturdy tripod, preferably with a ball-head.

Re: Tripod suggestions for 10k?

I am considering the AmazonBasics 62 inch tripod for Rs. 4000

I see mixed reviews. My camera usage is minimum. Hope this thing does not make the camera fall off.
Planning to use it with my GX7.
