BSNL's plans have for a long time been something like :

FMC : 500 (for the home 500 plan)
Full year (one-time payment) = 5000.

1000/- off on a bill that would have come to 6000/- if one had paid it monthly. The old plans already provided for a 16.6% off. Now it's an additional 3.3%

But I dont understand why BSNL's plans are ulta-pulta. Domestic users get charged more than business / commercial customers.

hmm

for 500C+ it's 600 PM or 6k per year which turns out to be ~20%.

And this is avalible for long time.

I was thinkin go get discount of 20% on the yearly payment so in short 5k for 500c+. Called BSNL , as usual they don't have clues about their own site.

It is so funny to know that Pune BSNL people are not aware. I am using the facility of annual payment 5000 for 500plan and also got the wireless modem for 1800 out right purchase which is cheaper than the BSNL rented normal single user RJ 45 cable modem.

@hariharanea: Do you have an BSNL landline already? If not you need to apply for a fresh telephone connection and a broadband connection along with it. BSNL is generally slow in processing these applications and allotting connections. You might have to wait for 2/3 months depending on load on your exchange.

Anyways here are links for applications forms:

1. Online: New BB User Registration

2. print n submit at nearest CC: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

Hi Sheel,
750 plus the roughly 10% is for the monthly rent. That will be of 825. If it is the first month then the installation charges might have occurred. If it is old please check your bill they should have given details or the detailed STD calls usage charges. I permanently locked the phone. So even in my absence also none can call.
