Default Nokia screen | dark spots & horizontal lines

I have a Nokia E61i. Of late, horizontal lines have appeared on the screen. Also there are these dark spots. When I touch it, its like a liquid that moves around. Its all around the screen like tiny dots, and there is another large collecton too.

Yes the phone has fallen in its lifetime, but not such a violent fall.

Need a solution to the problem. Its not a software problem, since I did a hard reset for the horizontal lines, but they still remain. The dark spots are definitely not software related.

If there is no solution, how much woul the reapir cost?

Hard to tell without looking at it or seeing a pic but by any chance, did you drop it even momentarily in water ? Looks like moisture related to me.

You have damaged your LCD screen. The black liquid/dots you see moving around are actually the "polarized liquid crystals", which are no longer stationary.Read more about it here:
Howstuffworks "How LCDs Work"

Nokia LCD's are normally in the range of 25 -30% of the cost of the phone.
