I kind of like it and greating a good discount on it ( mebbe will get it for 9K), i know its the first of the N-series but is it worth going for it now?
W810i's cam is way better than the N70. Its just brilliant for a 2MP.
Also the music quality through headfones is awesome. The only downside is that its a simple brick phone in black colour. You can get it for 12K right now.

Say hello the the HTC Kaiser or the P4550:

Salient features:

3.5G PLUS - Probably the only handset featuring HSUPA (one step ahead of HSDPA which is considered 3.5G) with upload speeds of upto 5.8 mbps.

20 channel GPS Receiver (NMEA, not Sirf Star III)

USB 2 Client (!) - USB mouse compatible!

Trick flip screen for desktop usage

41key QWERTY keyboard with auto lighting.

and all the other stuff that was on the Tytan/JASJAM.

N70= 11k or 13k with bluetooth ( some china made NE-501 or something)
810i = 12.8K
700i= 9.5K

My requirements are nice looking phone, good sound/voice clarity, decent camera and other regular stuff.

I am also looking at buying another phone for my wife ( Nokia 6300), how is it? feedback from owners would be appreciated.
You forgot the legendary Nokia N73 and N73(Music Edition).
It has a top-class 3.2 megapixel Carl-Zeiss Tessar (4-element glass) autofocus lens and mechanical (not electronic) shutter, excellent stereo sound and Nokia reliability and after-sales service.

The N73 handset is reviewed here.

And here they have reviewed the N73's camera separately.

need help with my n72

Hi guys,

I have been using the p910i, motorola rokr etc. for the last few years and few days back I was gifted a nokia n72. Its not the most cool looking phone but love the way it works and its features(it has a chick for a yoga instructor in it). I have been on the look out for a really cool fascia cover for my phone. Something like a ferrari cover or a nice plain black fascia cover. I havent been able to find any. Please let me know if any cool fascias can be found in the market for the n72. If so where?

Note from mod: threads merged.

Sony Ericsson P910i Display

Hey guys , i am using SE p910i . The phone fell down and the display got broken yesterday... when enquired from the SE service centre i was tld that the Display costs 4.5k . Then i got a price fof Rs. 3300 from the outside market .

Should i spend 4.5k and get it from the SE service centre or go and buy from the outside market ?

Note : Neither the Sony Ericsson nor the local dealer is giving any sorta warranty ....
when asked the difference between the two from a Certified SE centre ,(read certified SE cervice centre) i was told that the Vendor is the same(from china) and the cost is high becos of the bill and the taxes .

I didnt know what to say as this coming from an Authorized service centre and after his statement i am now thinking of getting it form the outside market ...

REALLY?

I have always liked the 910i. Are these 5.5k sets of *good* condition?
