Guys the QUICKOFFICE PREMIER software allows editing of documents/spreadsheets! The nokia phones come preloaded with QUICKVIEWER (WORD EXCEL ... etc) they can only open docs and xls files.

Manson: yes you can use this software to edit word documents but E50 has a very small screen and that could be big a problem.

Any known problems or disdvantages with Nokia 6300, Planning to get it for my wife. Please give real user experiences rather than heresay or mobile forum feedback.

my friend has it and ive used it a bit.. the screen is very good. the camera is decent. it has all the usefull features and is stylish.

Akshay, I have heard that the battery backup is not good enough on many forums. I won't believe until, I hear from a real user

Guys has anyone tried VOIP on their smartphones ? i tried SKYPE on my nokia and the "test call" was crystalllll clear, Calls to friends on internet were ok too apart from a 1sec delay. Gotta test out a voip call from mobile to mobile.

btw i'm using FRING, its a freeware!

Does anyone know whether Nokai 6300 work with any miniUSB cable? Its doesnt have a POPport like others. My Canon camera has miniUSB cable. Just wondering whether it will work...

Yep yep just saw the review its got miniusb!! So sorry for my earlier post. 6300 looks like a very good S40V3 phone from the review.

Manson : Congratulations for the new E61, does it have the application to edit Office documents like u needed? And for the cover i think you will have to hit heera panna, E61 has a unique design the cover will be difficult to get.

I do have the E50. Doing good. Relatively happy, except for some small issue.

Nokia 6300 is for my wife. Dont want to make a wrong buy. I heard the device has battery and heating issues. Can someone confirm this?

We dont require IR anymore, Do we?? we have the bluetooth and USB on most devices. Is the part about "sad battery life" really true?? Nokia says 3.5 hours on the spec sheet. Thats what it says on most phones. How can it be bad for just this phone?
