I was at Inorbit mall yesterday and happened to check out the Harmon Kardon go + play dock for I-pod (silver and black). I played my music on it with my I-phone 3g and loved the sound. I almost bought it, hower I noticed that it wouldn't charge my i-phone 3G. The salesman said that there's an updated model which would charge the i-phone 3g as well but they would have to order it. I was quoted Rs. 25,000/ with a one year warranty for this product.

I saw the same product on amazon where it retails for $348 (Rs. 16.5k) and on E-bay.in for Rs. 16,700/. I called the JBL lounge and was quoted Rs.24,800 for it. Why is there such a big difference in the price? I want this dock immediately but am a bit confused about the right price to pay for it.

The correct price in India is 24,800/- including all taxes etc etc ANd yes, it does sound super

Any idea as to how the sellers on e-bay are offering the dock for 16k? I was mighty tempted but seems that there might be a catch.

They're offering it with a bill and warranty. I checked a couple of other sites liet anythinginIT and Gadgetsguru who are selling it for 22-23k with a warranty from HK. Still confused.
