But why root the Duos right away? Why No interest in the warranty?!

Yeah - after this, I am not going near Xolo any time soon. Evan if they did divert my battery to some one else, i wonder why they need 1.5 months for a fresh order?

Rooted because I wanted to remove some bundled apps and to install greenify - this helps to keep the phone running a bit better than the stock.

Loosing warranty is a down side but if it is a hardware issue, I can unroot the phone to get the warranty back. If not also, being a Samsung, I assume there will be lot of support from local shops.

Need some help folks - I hope many of us use google maps. I am trying to open a map link which I created in desktop (browser) version of google maps but when I click on that link on my android phone, instead of loading the exact map, the phone is showing default navigation options between the start and end point.

How do I load the exact map on my phone?

I am using a Note 2 for last 8 months running on stock JB 4.3 . Today sometime during the day, it had shifted into safe mode while in my pocket. So I restarted it. After that, a few applications have reverted to their last update and some have gone missing. What could be the reason for it?
Moreover I am not so comfortable using it. What should be a good price for it if I put it up for sale?

Try removing the battery and putting it back in and see if the apps come back. If not, something probably went wrong in an update or something.

The apps will automatically update once the play store detects them as out of date.

Safe mode is accessed by holding down the power button for about 2 seconds and when the Samsung logo shows up, holding down the volume down key until the phone boots up and you get the safe mode text at the bottom of the screen

Just used the app called sendly. Gives you 50% discount on your first prepaid recharge. But it's better to use virtual card or use OTP to authorize as they store the card details. Once you install the app you get 25% by default and another 25% when you just click on the link offers and refer your friend.

Guys I am selling my 6 months old Nexus 4 for 18k. I have the bill and box. Is this price alright?

That's a fantastic price for a used nexus 4 16gb.

I too think the price is justified. Now let's hope that I get a buyer soon.

IMHO, 16 would be a better price. I think real world prices of this phone have come down. I bought a pre-owned one for 15k.

Btw,what phone are you getting next? How was the battery life on the Nexus 4?

I thought you already have a buyer who was willing to pay 18K. 18K is slightly on the higher side. You can a get new one at 22K.

I am planning to buy Iphone. The battery life was good. I used to get 22hrs of battery life. So it was good enough.

No I am about to sell so asked for an opinion on the price. Then I think 17k is good enough?

What should be price for a Xiaomi Mi3 WMCDA 64GB? I paid almost 42k for it including duties and want to sell it. No one wanted to pay 45k when new. Now it is a month old. Box and all with me.

I have finalised 17k as the final price for my Nexus 4. It is good enough price.

I'm sure there are other apps to block sms. But if you want real satisfaction, install this app called "India against spam". Very nice app that allows you to report such sms and calls to your service provider. I've got many numbers disconnected this way.

HTC ONE M8 release anouncement on 21st , Hope fully the price is lesser than S5 and hoping some bank would give 20% Cash back .
Waiting for this one from last one month .
