That post was yesterday night. You missed my newer post about the official images being available. Anyway as it turned out, the leaked copy was the same as the one posted on Google's factory images website.

I have installed Lollipop (flashed) onto my Nexus 7 2012. So far, it doesn't seem like the radical change from Kitkat like it was hyped about, just a lot of UI changes. The tablet still performs (and lags) like earlier.

Is this OTA update or flashed using factory images through a laptop?

OTA for Nexus 5 is not out yet. However if you have a custom recovery like TWRP flash this rom.

I have the preview or final beta version installed in my Nexus 5. Am I eligible for a OTA when it is available?

Any idea when can we expect Lollipop for Moto G (First gen), OTA or factory image?

Is there a free app for tracking mileage/ fuel consumption?
I have tried aCar and TripLog in the past. The reporting and backup features are locked and require payment.
So, now I am looking at something else.

Check out "Fuelio"

Have been using the free version and till now pretty satisfied. The PRO version has additional features like backup to cloud, etc. which I don't need. The simple backup (Export to SD card) seems sufficient.

No. You won't get OTA from the developer preview.

Nexus fans, rejoice!

The OTAs are out for the Nexus 5,7(2013 and 2012 WiFi), and 10.

Coming very soon for the Nexus 4.

I can already see in my mind's eye many people furiously hammering away at the 'Check for updates' button. lol:

EDIT: The 2nd Gen Moto X and Moto G are getting the Lollipop OTA, but only in the US as of now. Still, the rest of us won't have to wait very long!

Google announced OTA's but only Nexus 10 has got it as of now.

Nope, all those devices are getting it. Just that its a phased rollout.

Here is a Nexus 7 getting its OTA update:

that sir is a screenshot from the Nexus 10. Trust me when I say that Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (wi-fi) models have not got the OTA yet. I have been trolling xda forums for the last 10 hours for the OTA links because I own an Android blog of my own and need to post the news once the OTA starts for these devices (nexus 5 and nexus 7 wifi models).

Nexus 5 Lollipop OTA is a go. You can grab the update OTA zip file from here.
Please note you need to be on stock Android 4.4.4 KTU84P and should know how to sideload from adb.
I am not responsible for any bricked devices.

But seriously, I am so done with all these stupid updates. how and why does it matter if you aren't on the latest and greatest? Its like cars. Does everyone always care about having the next 5 bhp extra? No!

I am happy with simple jelly bean stuff to be honest. I prefer a faster responsive device anyday.

My phone hunt is at an end for now. The moto G is not heating as much. Plus my fiance gifted me a Moto X Gen 2 Wood. Yet to explore all the features in it. Need to train it this weekend :)

What about battery life (project Volta)? My Nexus 7 2012 on 4.4.4 hardly lags. Okay, it does a bit if you compare with something like Mi3.

I'm quite done with flashing and all too. Will wait for OTA. Not in huge hurry for that either... Hope to see some positive reviews before.
