So the new Galaxy lineup launched today. Stocks to start rolling out from 16th onwards to the general public.

Prebookers to get it earlier.

73k for the 256gb s9+.

Flipkart is offering 6k cashback if you pay using HDFC cards, plus an extra 5k on exchange. That's a flat discount of 11k at launch.

Maybe they have realised that they have botched up on the pricing front :)

Gentlemen, I am looking for a smartphone to replace my old Nokia, have an Honor 7x as the primary phone, new one will be secondary and handle all my business related stuff.

Most important requirement is, good video quality with stabilisation! budget is less than 20K

Please find a way to increase your budget by 5k and get the Nokia 8. Nothing beats it at that price. You get flagship specs and a 2k screen (554 ppi). The camera is OIS equipped.

It's available on an additional discount of 2k (using HDFC cards) for the next three days here:

Thanks for the quick reply !

Seems to be a good deal IMO, sadly purchase will take few more days :Frustrati OIS and good video quality is the number 1 priority as of now, will see how the price changes after.

Based on your inputs, I bought nokia 8 for my wife. She is very happy with it. The lightness of the stock android is far superior than the blotwares I get in my galaxy 8+. I am a nokia fanboy and I so happy that nokia is revamping. clap:

Can anyone using Mi A1 confirm if it has compass/magnetometer sensor? mi.com does not have it in their spec list for A1, hence the confusion.

So the battery life on the Honor View 10 is simply amazing! :Shockked:

This is the same usage that I have had with my Mi Max - which has a 4850 mAh battery! I am loving this phone!

Need a new Android phone costing under 30k. Good camera is a must. Below 25k is preferable but Ill go upto 30k if its worth it.

I suggest you look at the OnePlus 5T retailing for 32K. Certainly worth extending your budget.

Alternatively, you can even look at:

1) The Huawei Honor 10

2) The Nokia 8

If an old phone is okay with you, you can even look at the S7. Trust me, it has an excellent camera.

No questions - Honor View 10. Very good camera too. Much cheaper than the OP5T. I've just started using it.

Honor 8 Pro. Vastly under-rated. Here are some photos from my friend, Gaurav Parasher. He also owns the 1+5. In his mind, this is a better camera except in low light scenarios.

In case it helps, I purchased Mi A1 from Mi Home Jayanagar yesterday. Both black and gold were available.

Not sure about other mi home outlets. I tried at the phoenix market city outlet the previous weekend. However, they said it will be in stock only on Wednesday. So chances are it is available there as well

I have got a Software update on my Honor 9i and very nice and noticeable change is the Face recognition option for unlocking the phone and it works like a charm.

I have to just press the power button once, that's it, it recognises in roughly 2 seconds and voila it's unlocked. Loving this feature.

It does have the compass sensor, though there is no built in app. You can download any 3rd party compass apps from Playstore and it would work.

It even has the Gyroscope sensor.
