I would suggest a pure android phone or the One Plus' oxygen OS which is as good as stock. Coming from iOS, you are used to a fluid OS and this is where I think pure android excels. First choice should be the Pixel 2 XL which should fall in your budget considering the HDFC discount on Flipkart or if you trade in your iPhone 7. Other considerations can be the Oneplus 6 (if you want to save some cash) and probably the Nokia 7+.

Pixel2 is what would suit your needs. If you want bigger screen then OP6 should be the best in this price.

If you can strech to 65k then P20 pro is the best out there. Great screen, 2 day battery, top rated camera. The complete package.

Is the P20 pro really that great ? Check out this blind test by MKBHD, where the P20 pro pics aren't that great at all. The OP6 is better ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oD_3wMh5kLg
Additionally I have never been a fan of skins, but that's a personal choice. 65K is a seriously high price to pay for this phone.

I am an IOS guy and using IPhone since 2010 and currently have IPhone 7, now I am planning to change it. considering the amount I am going to spend to get IPhone X this time I am feeling to switch to Android.
Now number of options are just killing me. I am looking for phone with great display, Camera, Battery life, performance and all of above are in order of requirement .
I am really bending toward OP 6 but phone like Huawei 10, pixel 2 are also really good. I have fixed my budget at 45K, so friends please suggest.

Take a look at the LG v30 as well. Flies under the radar for most :)

Yes. The pics got compressed. It's looks good on my phone. Will try to shoot and some pics over the weekend, via Google photos.

Thanks for sharing this; Photos from C looked the best in almost all the comparisons, closely followed by B & E. No surprise that C was indeed the Pixel 2 XL. And for my eyes, the photos from S9+ were better than the iPhone X.

Well, in terms of actual Hardware, P20 pro sports the biggest sensor there is out there! It is nearly twice the size of the sensor in phones like OP6 or Pixel2. Big sensor means more light can be accumulated by the camera and that should mean better pictures, especially in low light situations. So theoretically P20 pro should be the best camera phone out there. Now I have not used it myself so I cannot say if Huawei is able to extract all the performance out of it, but from whatever reviews I have seen and the comparisons, I think it is a very solid camera. Additionally it packs amazing other specs. top notch processor, IP rating, 4000mAH battery etc etc. Its tough to ignore it as a complete package. The only downside for me is price :) I am loathe to pay that much for a 'Chinese' phone. For the same price as OP6 it would be natural choice for me.

Meanwhile, there is a longer term (2 months) camera review available for Oneplus6 from a professional photographer who collaborated with Oneplus.

I am impressed with capabilities of the OP6. Its like 90% of the flagships at 60% price and a great value proposition. I am tempted to exchange my Mi5 with it now.

Even though my S8 was an early one still no message for an update to Oreo. I wonder what is the sequence.

Is there anyone who could lay hands to "asus zenfone max pro"?
Don't see much feedback/update on this here.
Finding difficult to get it in sale.

I don't understand your need to change from a iPhone 7 to X. Is it boredom with the hardware? The same will happen with a Note 8/S9 kind of high end phone, so budget factors will always arise.
Infact from my experience, since iOs is the same across the range, the desire for a change is lesser or not there, than I would get on a Nokia ( Symbian) or an Android phone. I am still using a 6S and don't feel the need to change anytime soon.

To begin with, try with a 15-30000 range of phone to see if you are ok with the new Os and then move up the ladder.

I don't think you gain much by moving from an iPhone 7 to X (I use both). If you want to continue with iOS, go for the 8+ and save some money. The X got a brilliant face id implementation, and the swipe action instead of the home button is so intuitive. But that's pretty much all about the positives. If moving to Android, I would recommend the Note 8 or Pixel 2 XL.

Thanks everyone for you suggestion but I am in such a dilemma :Frustrati .
If I am buying a phone now then my budget is set to 40K max which leaves Pixel 2 or note 8 out. If I think of spending 60K-70K I will not even think and will definitely go for IPhone X.

I am also thinking to wait till October and see what apple have to offer and I am pretty sure by that time new One plus will pop up lol: , then I might be able to decide.

I got it in the first sale at around 12:07. It is for my father who replaced his ageing but reliable Moto G2. I was in a dilemma between Honor 9 lite and Redmi 5. I don't like either skins nor does my father. I had almost decided on Honor 9 lite and was waiting for the sales but heard about the Zenfone Pro M1 launch.

I got the 3/32 variant. It is an excellent device, good build quality, very good display, super fast (if you are not a heavy gamer), dual-4G standby with separate slots for sims and sdcard. Camera is decent but it was never our priority.

Cons - No fast charging. Overall, very good VFM.

Just go and get yourself a samsung note 8. I am no samsung fanboy and have used nexus all my life but note 8 is simply in a different league. Its just a beautifully well put together device. You will get some good deals too now. And don't worry you will get used to the fingerprint reader in a few hours.

Pixel 2 has an 8k cash back on HDFC cards, if that helps. It'll get you closer to the 40k limit you've got.

Looking for a mid range android phone for my wife. Budget 15K. Should have decent display , camera and performance . Fast charging will be nice to have . Any recommendations ?

I took a look at the Honor 9 lite ( no fast charging ) , but the camera photo samples look dull. She was using a Moto G3 earlier , should I wait for the G6 launch ? The G6 display is quite large at 5.9 inches and a smaller display would be nice.

Got EMUI 8.0 update for Honor 9i today morning, which upgrades from Android 7 to 8.0.

Need to still check what are the major changes.
