How to change background color of the calling screen? |
Check your SIM settings.
Settings > Network & Internet > Sim Cards > Click on the SIM name > Color

Nokia 8 camera hardware is pretty good for both indoor (low light) and outdoor use. Take a look at color reproduction in these samples - |
Nice! Just the feedback I was looking for, from actual users.
Anyway, for the calling screen colour, change the SIM card colour in settings menu. This is how the setting looks on AOSP 7.0 on my moto.

Done. Switched back to what used to be the default blue. Thank you :)

But apparently LG has a new division only to push speedy updates. One can only hope.
Lovely phones they make but goes under the radar for most. Oh and it has Dolby vision with HDR as well. |
I've installed the Europe Oreo rom on my India v30+. Its working perfectly. The only issue that people have come across are using Volte in Jio. In case you want the latest (OK, not quite latest as it's still 8.0) and greatest android version

Seriously considering the pixel 2 given the 35K price. Looking for a phone in 30K range which will be trouble free for 2 years at least. Camera performance and call clarity highest priority. What other phones come close to the pixel 2 when it comes to camera quality??
My dad is choosing between the Pixel 2 (35K) and the Samsung S8 (38K). Substantial offers running on Flipkart. Probably going to go in for the Pixel 2.
Guys,
Looking to snag a deal in the ongoing fest. This is for a mobile phone for the office and my main requirement is a sub-10k phone with a good battery.
Any suggestions?

Great specs and a huge battery, but it's tough to lay hands on one.

Thank you!
Of your suggestions, I honestly liked the specs of the Asus the best. Is there an equivalent in Nokia or Motorola?

The G6 series from Motorola is rumored to be coming soon, so if you could wait a month or two then you can check those out.
Nokia has the 6.1, but again, unless you are going to go the exchange route, that will overshoot your budget as well. And it has a tiny battery too compared to the Asus.

Yes, I definitely think the Moto G6 variants hold a lot of promise and are probably worth waiting out for. The G6 play has a 4000 MAH battery which should also do well, and will probably end up being priced lower than the regular G6? I don't know.
Thank you!
Any first hand experience with the Nokia 7 plus here? Looks like a worthy successor for my erstwhile Nexus 5x, except for the heft. Also wary about the camera performance. It hasn't got very good reviews despite sharing the Pixel's camera module.
Currently, am torn between the LG G6 and Nokia 7 plus.
I have ordered a Redmi note 5 for my mom who is currently using my old Moto G (1st Gen). Will it be too big for her hands? She uses the MotoG with increased font size so thought a bigger screen will be much more helpful. She will be using it with a flip type cover. She uses her phone for calls, WhatsApp and occasional YouTube videos.
Should I cancel the order and go with Redmi 5 which is a bit smaller than Redmi Note 5?

Suggest the OP 5T. Pl look into the reviews that reveal the depth of the images captured in the 5T and you’d be pleasantly surprised. Let me know what did you decide on finally.
Cheers,
Vijay
