Amazon was showing 1.49 before exchange and offers. Cashify was selling a refurbished one for 1.05 lakhs. Went to offline stores like Vijay Sales and Reliance, both were quoting same price of 1.50 lakhs after all discounts.

Only right place to buy Samsung products is their Samsung Corporate Portal (
https://www.samsung.com/in/multistor...rate/prelogin/). It is open to all given that you have a dedicated work mail id. Currently the Z Fold 6 retails for 1.4L. Zero negotiations and delivered straight from Samsung. I purchase all my Samsung products from here - Phones to AC's to TV's. Usual card offers apply too, hence double the delight. Oneplus too has a similar program where the prices are discounted.
Anyone using the One Plus 13? Currently using 2 iPhones, thinking of switching one to an Android.

I just got oneplus 13R last week. Phone performance is pretty good. Only concern is with the android auto not connecting, tried couple of cables but no luck..earlier oneplus9 was working like a charm. Still need to figure out this issue.

2025 is a year of new phones in our house. I got a S25 Ultra, dad lost his Iphone 14 in Khumbh mela and got a Iphone 16, and my mom got a Fold 6. No more new phones for next 3-4 years (fingers crossed). |
Congratulations on the Z Fold 6, I'm also using one since 4 months now. I was using fold 3 before that, for over 2.5 years, so would like to inform you about the ground reality of using a Fold.
The folding screen WILL fail at one time eventually and the cost is prohibitive(I'm sure you know). Hinge will also develop issues, its just a matter of time, mine had issues after 2 years and now I've seen the same on fold 5 as well. Fold 6 is too new to know.
My folding screen was replaced twice under warranty (I took extended warranty). That totals out to nearly the cost of the phone itself. I would suggest you to buy extended warranty and hold on to the phone till the warranty is active. Sell it the day the extended warranty is over. I love using my fold, but its not a phone that can realistically last 3-4 years. Resale value is decent if the phone is completely functional.

This is not true for all the corporate id’s. It works only on a select few corporate id’s.
Also, the ‘welcome bonus’ never gets credited when you login in for the 1st time. Idk why, but I’ve tried this with 2-3 corporate id’s and have never got the welcome bonus (in the app of course).

Nice. I didn’t know OP too has a similar program.
Finally sold my August-2023 iPhone 14 for INR 31K and got a new Oneplus 13R. Life couldn't be more easier now, as far as phone is concerned.
Why I sold iPhone.
- Pathetic Battery Life.
- Overheating.
- User unfriendly.
- No more a status symbol, even my driver/electrician/sweeper has same iPhone.
Why OnePlus.
- Fast processor. No lag.
- Excellent battery life.
- Decent camera.
- Super value for money.

I used Android Auto on OP13R in both my cars, one wired, another wireless. both are connecting successfully. The only issue is sometimes music is pausing on Spotify on its own.
Hi All,
I am facing a strange issue in the Android auto. The Favourites tab under the Phone/Call is blank. It was working with my Samsung phone earlier. I recently changed my phone to Motorola Android this issue cropped up. I tried this option in my friend's car and the issue is there as well. I reached out to Motorola and Google on X and Motorola suggested some troubleshooting steps and none of them helped. When I searched in Google, I found that this issue is with with Motorola phones (mentioned in Google forums).
Would like to know if anyone has faced this issue and any workaround to have this fixed?

It appears to be a compatibility issue with Motorola and Android Auto and hopefully, Motorola will provide an update to resolve this. A relative of mine who has the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has the same issue and none of the steps provided by the customer support team including updating Android OS, Android Auto App or the Google Play Services seemed to help, they also suggested clearing cache and data, re-pairing the devices, checking all permissions were allowed, trying Wireless and wired Android Auto but despite all these nothing seems to work.
Finally when I informed them of the same, they told me to wait for updates from Motorola as they may release updates to resolve the same. Hopefully, it comes out soon!

I have the same phone model and I was provided the same steps too. Keeping fingers crossed for the update to release soon. Sometimes it is comforting that we are not alone and there are others sailing in the same boat. :D

Quite comforting! but besides this hiccup, the phone is an absolute gem in my opinion with blazing fast wired charging, fast wireless charging, good looks in the leather finish, a great display and a camera, performance is more than adequate although performance-hungry users may prefer a SD 8th gen or Dimensity 9000 series. This is our second Motorola in the family apart from the Moto Razr V3 which we bought way back in 2004 end when it was still an American-owned company, our second phone from the brand came 2 decades apart, this time though it is a subsidiary of Lenovo.
The price is pretty reasonable as well, it's an absolute bang for the buck device considering the prices at which this phone sells abroad!

Yes, this is a known issue in Motorola phones which neither Google nor Lenovo/Motorola seem inclined to fix. I have tried a few workarounds (I have an Edge 50 Ultra as my primary phone) but nothing has shown any results so far.
Another observation I have is that the setting "Start Android Auto even if the phone is locked" does not work. The first issue is not a bid deal for me (I don't use the touchscreen UI to place calls but prefer to use voice commands), but the second is a major irritant.

This is interesting. Sometimes I have noticed that the Map doesn't turn on automatically. I need to click on Android Auto or map. Let me check for few more days and see. Out of curiosity, did you restart your phone after making the setting changes. I didn't know earlier that we need to restart the phone for the Android auto settings to take effect.

A query related to recently introduced feature 'Private Space' in Google Pixel devices.
Has anyone managed to install bank apps inside private space? |
Quoting myself to answer this. With the recent pixel feature drop during the last monthly update, Google seem to have fixed this issue.
I am able to add bank apps inside private space. The SMS authentication for sim presence seems to go through now which was failing earlier.
I was comparing this private space with secure folder of Samsung. The private space functions like a dual space/parallel space present in Chinese branded mobiles. This includes even duplicating corporate apps like Microsoft Intune. But in Samsung secure folder, you can install other apps but not Microsoft Intune Company portal. So if you have two corporate accounts, lets say your employer and your client, then you can use only one in Samsung. But in pixel you can use both, like other Chinese mobiles.
I think Pixel becomes only alternative for my kind of use case, if one wants to avoid Chinese brands.
While walking towards the car parking from her office, my wife fell down yesterday (thankfully she's fine). The fall was nasty enough to break her phone's display, which is now unusable as it doesn't respond to typing or swipes. Also, the in display fingerprint sensor is gone so I am fairly sure there's no point in trying to get it repaired. It was a Oneplus Nord CE 3.
I am now looking for a new phone for her. She has asked me to not spend more than 30k but as her 40th birthday is three months away, I want to buy her something decent. Should ideally be a Oneplus because her last three phones were Oneplus so she's used to that interface. Waiting is an option too if something exciting is coming up, I will just ask her to use a backup phone for the time being.
Major requirements are good call quality (as she spends a lot of time in office calls), good display, fast charging and decent camera.
Suggestions would be really helpful.

Though slightly expensive, the Oneplus 12 is a good choice but a worthy flagship device from the previous year. The cheaper option is to go for Oneplus 13R. It is newer and the reviews are good but for the average camera.
