Usernames of TBHPians elsewhere (BB-Pin, MSN, Skype, hi5, xda-developers etc)

In a close-knit community such as this, it would be great if members could talk to each other. Since it wouldnt be economically viable for us to develop or support voice chat, I'd like to suggest that TBHP includes a category for Skype Name in the profile page, so that members may contact each other directly.

Kindly put your views (on this proposal) on record in this thread.

I think its a good idea... specially as its up to the member to publish his id or not, and thats assuming he has an id in the first place!

Maybe we could have a poll on this... lets see what the preferred form of communication is amongst all of us.
Another point to note is that we have Yahoo, ICQ and MSN ids of some members already posted.
Ive not used ICQ in ages, but both Yahoo and MSN allow a Video and Audio chat!

The reason I suggested Skype is that it allows you to forward incoming calls to your mobile when you're logged out. It is much more telephony oriented than all the other chat clients with voice chat, and a lot of people use it as their preferred mode for business communication. I do, and I know a lot of others who do. Skype Name is now part of business cards!

AS orkut describes it.."Orkut is an online community that connects people through a network of trusted friends. We are committed to providing an online meeting place where people can socialize, make new acquaintances and find others who share their interests."

It's really fun.....so if you want then i can send you an invitation.

There is actually a team-bhp group there. But no one has joined. I joined and left a message on it a few days ago. So which other BHPians are on it?

here it is: http://www.hi5.com/friend/displayGro...groupId=485371
