Indica turbo with hvac and power steering (DLG) will set you back by more than 4.1L on road. DLS (a/c only - no heater) should be slightly cheaper. Turbos however give you FE of 20 KMPL. But, unless a diesel runs at least 100 KM each week, the engines deteriorate pretty fast.

Hi,

I have a wagon R Lxi. Man the PS & AC is still very good. I'am driving from past 4 1/2 years. But only problem is FE. The Wagon R gives about 12~14kmpl. But Zen will at least give around 16~18kmpl (guess). The performance is 0~60kmph in 8~10 secs it has 1.1L engine and power is 64 bhp. Also the manuverability is very good in Wagin R with PS. It also has a powerful AC. The seats are at height than Zen which definately gives the advantage of clear view......

The annual manitenance cost would be around 1500 for servicing - 2 times/yr + Oil change for every 5000 Kms run. I would suggest you go for a Wagon R LXi.......
