Alto LXI anytime.Power steering,a very powerful AC and also a brake booster.
A new 800 will not have a power steering and also a brake booster.Not worth it.

The verdict seems to be heading towards the Alto LXi. I guess at the back of my mind, this was my first choice as well. Just wanted to get fellow T-bhpians advise. Now will start looking for a used Alto Lxi. Maybe a 2002 or 2003 model!

Any day an alto lxi.But one factor you have to bear in mind,if your father is above 5'11'',then he would be comfortable in a satro due to the higher seats.Otherwise alto lxi is the better choice.

Good decission and why not put up an intial report and how your dad is living with it.What is the deal you got on it.
