I found Spark is fun to drive and VFM after SWIFT diesel. Spark drives well in city as well as in highways.
I will go for 1.1PS version since I am looking only for Power Steering and AC. On road price in Pune is Rs/- 3.51 Lakhs (Including 10k for 3Yrs GM maintenance scheme).

Dealer is ready to give below accessories for free
- Floor mates
- Mud Flaps
- Sun film

I will ask him to provide Steering cover too.

Could you please tell me what other accessories should I purchase for my car?
I own a Spark and I continue to regret having bought it. Its not fun to drive!
It looks cool, but.
I purchased the car as soon as it was launched, and no freebies were offered.
Other than a good music system and seat covers, no accessories are required.
I do enjoy driving my Santo xing which has been around for a few years.
Maybe you should go for the i10.

Your experience about spark is surprising . I for one can vouch for spark. It zooms on highway , In 5th gear it glides. Almost all professional reviews are unanimous about its ride quality , the linear acceleration etc. The suspension is much better than Santro. The gear becomes very smooth after 1000Kms.The build quality very strong . All in all no competetion up to price tag of 3.75 lacs.

Since he bought it just after it was launched, I guess, price was much higher at that time.

Even Nimz, one of the TBHPians, bought it outside the discount period. But Indizen08's post seems to convey a different message altogether.

Indi, could you please elaborate on why you don't find Spark 'fun to drive' and as to why you regret your decision?

It could help the prospective buyers in making an informed decision.

Now this is a first. I myself have been owning a Spark since the last 4.5 months and have my own opinions and have heard various comments from other Spark owners, in other forums too. But never has anyone complained about this particular point. Of course, opinions can differ, nothing wrong with that.

But I must say from my personal experiences, Spark is an absolute pleasure to drive. It's a very smooth car with an amazingly silent engine. It's very easy to handle. There have been some known issues like the gear box is not smooth before first service and pickup is not the best in the world. But overall, it's a great car from the driving point of view. As regards the discounts and ***, we'll have to wait and watch. As of now, I haven't faced any issue on those fronts.

BTW, I bought my Spark in that 50k discount scheme GM offered last Dusshera.

Yo! Here I am.. yup.. one of the first on T-bhp to get the Spark. fingers crossed.. dont seem to have any probs which my friends who got it the 50K discount period were complaining.. (some clock problem!!) Spark may not have the initial acceleration of a santro or a Estilo, the seats may be bucketish.. but "fun to drive" theres no denying that.. just back after a traffic ridden 15 km drive across Bangy.. zipping zapping and zooming..love it!

Is Indizen complaining because he didn't get a good deal or whether there's a genuine problem with the car's handling/ride. Since he's not replied to any of the queries so far and this is the only one that is on the negative side, we can probably ignore it.

We have booked a spark 1.0 for Rs.3.81 OTR Red color.
I asked the dealer if he would give us Seat covers, he said "Sir you have to purchase it separately" :(
I saw few of them in this dealership, they costed 2.5k.
So should buy accessories like seat covers from outside or from dealer?

secondly, he is charging Rs.3200( included in OTR price) in name of security system. The salesman still does not really have a clue what actually is given in security system. Tommorow i go again to ask the manager, as today he was missing.

does anyone know, what default security system goes in spark by default?

Spark LS, right? Spark 1.0 base CANNOT be for the price you mention.

Accessories are best bought outside as per one's taste. Check Patchyboy's thread for a good VFMleather seat covers he got done.

As, I learned driving On Mahindra commander then used to drive Mahindra Marshal Jeep of my dad, so Spark's Steering is like a video game control

Any particular reason why you don't want Power Steering? If its for financial reasons its ok, otherwise my suggestion is to go for power steering. The Pros far outway the cons.

Seat covers, security systems can be done outside. Would be cheaper.

Best of luck with the nice car !!

Making a trade off here
Have to select one option from below

1) Get PS model for 3.39.
2) instead get a 1.0 model for 3.18, and spend rest money on ICE
