Yesterday, I got a quote. i10 1.1 Era (Metallic) On Road Rs.393383 Less Discount (11297 insurance and 4500 cash discount) = Rs.3,77,586/-.

The Executive also offered some accessories at the time of finalizing the deal.

These are Delhi prices.

Tell me one thing. Why do you have to go for an I10 when you got the chevy U-VA for the same price.

If you are a newbie, then mostly you will opt the i10. But, eventually you one day think back that you should have gone for the u-va

Newbie cars : estillo/wagonR/i10
Good cars: Getz/U-VA/Swift

I think your friend need to negotiate further. Here in Chennai i10 1.1 deals are like Free insurance,3rd year ext.warnt'y,Cash disc.5k & corp disc 2k.Then they are giving sony MP3+4speaks and basic acce's. In addition to this while finalising the deal try to get R/L also.

Note: Color availability is limited for 1.1 here

Why do people go in for an I10 over an U-VA? The same reason why tens of thousand of car buyers have gone in for an i10 as compared to a few hundred who have bought an U-VA. Past track record of Hyundai in India, proven reliability, lower cost of maintenance, a much wider dealership network...

You might think that the U-VS is a better car but the proof of the pie is in the eating.

Well said!
One is never sure about GM's plans...they themselves are waiting for bail out! The showrooms are deserted now.

@ritz: Buddy, seeing your passion for defending GM/U-VA, can't help but ask if you are in any way a distant cousin of some one here in the forum.

Ritz at it again. I thought you had enough when you asked for your thread to be closed. I envy your spirit. Keep it up.

Isn't this the i10 with the irde engine from Santro? Any reasons for not choosing the Kappa one?
