New Hatch ?

My fellow BHPians !
I would love if you guys could help me . I want to buy a hatch for myself . The budget would be around 4-6 lakh rupees . I would want to mod it like alloys , funky ICE , etc . Well , thats when i can make my choice !

The options as you all know are :
1) Maruti Suzuki Swift VXi ( with ABS of course )
2) Volkswagen Polo 1.6 Highline
3) Hyundai i20 Asta Petrol
4) Fiat Grand Punto Emotion

My review would be that every 2nd guy buys a swift , gets it modded and drives around town showing off ( no offence meant to anyone ) So i think that it should be ruled out .

Fiat Grand Punto : I'm quite impressed but i kind of like do not want to buy a FIAT .

Hyundai i20 is a fantastic car but then it kind of like exceeds the price bar .

Left is the Polo . If it is priced sensibly , then an obvious yes . But if not , Then what ?

I would like all of you to give me opinions on buying which one of the above and Some ICE options too ! The ICE budget would be like 15k to 20k .

A decent Sub + Amp + 2 good speakers should do the job . If the polo , then their head unit is good enough i think . If you guys can think of better options , your opinions are always welcome !

Thanks a lot brothers !

You can add the

Beat
and the Figo to the list

The evergreen Vista also can be considered. You will have to wait for the polo 1.6 as it is not expected anytime soon. I believe the 1.2 Petrol will be launched followed by the 1.2 D then the 1.6 Petrol

Couldn't agree more, though swift is a fantastic car, its tad too common these days.

Polo can be a great option in case you are ready to wait.

Any reason for not having considered Beat?

Yeah . The beat is a bit small i suppose and it , i think so , wouldn't satisfy my purpose . Though its a good car .

I've been waiting for the past 4 months to buy a car bro !

How can't i wait for just like 2 months or so more !

I'd like to buy like a "hot-hatch!"

Fabia is too ficely priced for a hatch , so not in the list

I've given the reason for not considering the beat . Figo might just be added to the list .

Vista a no no because i need something like a bit funky , young , peppy . Indica no doubt has been there for so many years and the vista does look sporty from the front but i wouldn't like it for a ride around town .

Polo - yup ! i'm damn ready to wait . 1.6 l Highline - giving 105 bhp ! why not ! beats an octivas out put !
